BRIDGEWATER, NJ (TIP): A special Bollywood music concert “Sunheri Yaadein” was held on April 27, 2019, at Balaji Temple Auditorium in Bridgewater, NJ to promote local talented singers and musicians. Six decades of Bollywood music’s journey and tribute to living legend Amitabh Bachchan’s 50 years of contributions were celebrated by singers and musicians in four hours of evening concert.
OHM Charities, a non-profit organization which was established in 2018 to promote cultural awareness through entertainment and promote music, language and heritage across the world and OHMkara, well known cultural organization since 2013 organized their first-ever Bollywood music concert with local talented group singers and musicians under one roof.
This year, OHMkara marked the fifth year of event bringing to the USA since their inception and their newer additional objectives to promote local singers, musicians, compere and dancers from the USA.
The four hours of fun-filled and melodious evening of mega concert of Bollywood songs from six decades sung by renowned seasoned and young artists in a state-of-the art auditorium with wonderfully choreographed numbers from black & white era, golden era and current years were loved, appreciated and cheered by the audience.
The talented singers like Anitha Krishna, Rakesh Raj, Chirag Trivedi, Tanmayee Mohapatra, Neeti Gupte, Abheejet Pachegaokar, Usha Changa and Dr. Tushar Patel along with live band from talented & renowned Bollywood musicians Sunny, Dominic, Diapk, Percy and Sanchez performed with some melodious romantic, sentimental, peppy numbers from yester years and new solos and duets with some high beat bhangaras in the end.
The highlight of the evening was a special tribute to living legend and Super star Amitabh Bachchan’s 50 years of Bollywood contributions. It was celebrated by performing a memory of his songs in a form of medlies which was well liked by the audience. Ohmkara team and the songs line up were amazing to keep the audience entertained choreographed the entire event. RJ Usha Changa was the mistress of ceremony who did an amazing job in engaging the audience and telling the Bollywood story and history of the songs. On behalf of team Ohmkara, Nishil Parikh welcomed everyone and gave history and vision of Ohmkara and Ohm Charities.
